This month let’s learn about our SACRAL CHAKRA. This chakra is located in the lower abdomen, just below the navel. It is our 2nd chakra and is associated with our emotional well-being, creativity, and sensuality. This chakra governs our capacity for passion, pleasure, and the ability to form healthy connections with others.

Imbalances in the Sacral Chakra can manifest as emotional instability, low self-esteem, and difficulty forming healthy relationships. It can result in a lack of fulfillment and joy, as well as closed off emotions. By harmonizing and opening the Sacral Chakra, individuals can experience a deeper connection to their emotions, heightened creativity, and an increased capacity for genuine and healthy interactions with others.

When the Sacral Chakra is in balance, it enables us to express our emotions freely and fosters a sense of joy and vitality. It fuels our creativity. It is the source of inspiration and it allows us to explore our artistic, sensual, and imaginative potentials. We become more patient, joyful, and prosperous!

So, what can you do to support your Sacral Chakra? Go to YouTube and search for meditations and/or sound healing for the Sacral Chakra. The color that supports the Sacral Chakra is orange. Eat orange foods and wear orange clothing. Use essential oils like Patchouli to help open and balance this energy center. Keeping a crystal in your pocket is a very effective and powerful way to bring this Chakra into alignment! Orange calcite, carnelian or sunstone are my favorites! Another effective tool is one that most everyone can do right now: Journaling. Below are three good journal prompts to help you dive into your Sacral Chakra.

Whatever you decide to do, focus this month on building a relationship with this very important and powerful energy center! It holds so much pleasure, creativity, and joy! You’ll be glad you did!
